Join us in 2022 for exciting hands-on workshops at Mānoa Heritage Center. All participants must pre-register for workshops. No refunds 3 days before class begins and no walk-ins.

Hiʻialo (Ages 7-9) 8:30am – 9:45am

Hiʻikua (Ages 10-13) 10:00am – 11:15am

Limited to 25 students per class

Join Kumu Kau‘i Mead for an engaging and enriching hour of Hoʻōla Music and Cultural Arts!

In this introductory class, students will about the value of Aloha through moʻolelo and the history of the ʻukulele with the opportunity to also learn the song Island Style/ʻŌiwi E and the C chord progression.

Materials to bring: ʻukulele, (a limited number of ʻukulele are available to borrow), notebook.
